Cairina moschata

We have three new arrivals at Hamilton Gardens. They are Muscovy Ducks - they're so big we thought they were some sort of goose at first. They're also not very timid at all. When they're alerted they put up a crest of feathers on the top of their heads. They make a nice addition to the gardens and seem to have made a comfy home up in the Suffrage pond area.

Dendrobium phalaenopsis

Formerly and still commonly 'D. bigibbum'.
